Hey, those of you who know anything at all about Jesse Eisenberg (I know you're out there):

who do you think his favorite Pratchett character would be?
Stolen from a couple of people

Give me a link to one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.

(Oh, hey, you can probably also just say "the one with the..." and I would probably know that, too, or titles or whatever.)
1. Comment with any 'ship from a fandom that you know I have some knowledge about.
2. I will rant about aforementioned romantic pairing. This may be incoherent gushing or exclamations of disgust, depending on what it is.
[my note: doesn't have to be a romantic ship, though if you don't want it to be, you should probably specify :P]

BECAUSE AFTER THIS WEEK I DESERVE A SILLY MEME, OKAY? OKAY.
I'm twenty-four minutes late, but in my defense setting up a new computer is more difficult than it looks.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to two very, very dear people. May your years be marvelous, [livejournal.com profile] imntsaying and [livejournal.com profile] munkykiss!
I've read a LOT of Due South fic, but I had never seen the canon. I picked it up from the library on a whim--I have SO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS with no computer, you guys. SO MUCH TIME.

I finally got to the first ep of the third season. And y'all, I had been shipping RayV/Fraser. ALL ALONG, I had been shipping them. And that beautiful coded goodbye, I sat there, snivelling a little, and thought, "Damn, it's going to take an incredible guy and an INCREDIBLE relationship for me to forgive fandom for falling for RayK/Fraser when THIS WAS SO REAL."

And then I met RayK.

FANDOM, I FORGIVE YOU.

HE IS SO AWESOME AND THEIR MARRIAGE IS SO AMAZING. It's H50 levels of amazing marriedness. It BEATS OUT JOHN AND RODNEY. *_____________________* I have to go re-read ALL THE FIC EVER omg.
BAH.

My computer is down again. FYI. I will try to keep up through family computers, but I will probably not be around as much as I'd like.
Dear Brendon:

I love you.

Dear Dallon:

You too.

Dear Ian,

And you. Mostly for the way you are clearly humoring Brendon.

Dear Spencer:

I LOVE YOU THE VERY, VERY MOST. Troll.
Which is less skeezy: Motel 6 or a hotel where you stand outside at 1 AM and call to the laundry service to check you in?

(Price comparable, location comparable, keep in mind I will be coming in around twelve-thirty or one and then getting up at six to leave. I will be alone. Erk.)
For the darlingest [livejournal.com profile] flamingsword:

I want to be you when I grow up. Till then, I am mostly just glad you are out there, existing, living life.

May you go on doing so for years to come.

Happy birthday, dearest!
For [livejournal.com profile] thalialunacy:

It is a little embarrassing just how much I love you, you know that? You're my idol and my mentor and the best, brightest, most adored big sister anybody ever had. You make me laugh in the ashes of despair (yours or mine); you are my constant comfort and friend. There aren't many people in the world I would walk through fire for. You are one of them.

Ours is the luckiest universe, because you were born and turned out to be exactly who you are.

Happy birthday, my darling.
THE INTERNET IS BEING FUNKY AND I AM HAVING A MASSIVE FOUR-YEAR-OLD TANTRUM OVER IT

(So, you know, I may not be around.)
FINALLY got to Fringe in my list of To-Watch. OH FRINGE, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE TELEVISION SHOW EVAR.

FRINGE! )
In a WEEK. I'm kind of concerned that Best Buy might have come under a Curse of Competence with some kind of world-ending subclause, but I HAVE A REAL COMPUTER and am so happy I may cry.

That said: OMG suddenly there is Social Life all over my, uh, life? Friday I'm going to see My Chem with [livejournal.com profile] desertneon, who is an awesome concert companion and even willing to make me be brave and go hang around fences to tell GeeWay that MiddleBro looks up to him like stars in the sky. (I'm actually kind of looking forward to it? I love meeting Panic but I never know what to say because I look up to Brendon and love him dearly--as my left shoulder can attest--but I'm also 95% sure that the reasons I do that would make him all squirmy and uncomfortable, and they also make me all squirmy and uncomfortable, and so I usually just smile awkwardly and squeak a lot. At least I know Gerard likes hearing that he makes a difference!) And then she is going to SPEND THE NIGHT and there will be a SLEEPOVER OF AWESOMENESS which, yay.

And then NEXT week A) I am hosting a murder mystery dinner thingy with my sister (...I really hope it goes well) and B) Skids is coming to town for a whole week! I'm going to make a Fringeist of her, you see if I don't. And then at the end of THAT week Skids's sister NinjaGirl is getting married and there will be lots of old friends and stuff.

ALSO: I am doing like, four days of meme because almost all of them are books and this meme is less exciting without pictures, so I'm going all the way down until there ARE pictures.

Whole List

Day 13: Favorite Female Character in a Book--Janet Carter Day 14: Favorite Older Female Character--Mary Alice Tate Sullivan Nachman Crane Day 15: Favorite Female Character Growth Arc--Frankie Landau-Banks Day 16: Favorite Mother Character--Mama Knight )
This is me notifying the world that my laptop shorted something and I am surviving on library computers and my weebaby netbook for the next couple of weeks. So I may be spottily available depending on various timetables; the weebaby is prone to stuttering itself to a halt and also kind of a pain to type on for long. I absolutely AM going to camp out in the library and finish all my betaing this weekend, but everything else just, don't expect me to make or keep commitments, kay? *frownyface*

I MISS AND LOVE ALL OF YOU
