Tried to settle in and plot last night and the computer went down. When I got it back up, it refused to connect. *glares darkly*
Squee for me, I had "my" kids all day yesterday, and did not lose it, which is a first. I don't normally have them for more than five hours; when I go in early or get sent into that particular room before my usual time, I tend to get worn out and headachy and cross with the kids, as they are a handful. On Halloween Shannon sent me to the tods to get me away from the hyperactive completely undisciplinable children, as I was just about to snap completely. But yesterday I had them from nine-thirty on, and still kept my cool. Go me!
I am still missing supplies for the lesson plan she left me, but Debbie gave her the supplies. Therefore, she has, in trying to be helpful, put them somewhere I will never find them. In all likelihood. *sigh*
Have agreed to go and see my high school magazine's advisor and her family on Wednesday, meeting Jen there. Am looking forward to it.
Christmas shopping--done! Except the grandparents, but I know what I want to get them, and I want to get it fresh, which is good because with rent and utilities due money is going to be tight until next Thursday.
I can now LJ code my entries without even thinking about it, which is a moment of quiet pride for me, as it took me forever to learn.
