(no subject)

Got my THUD! tonight. Sang, "I've got a book, I've got my book, and it's got Vimes and trolls and dwarves and Sibyll and baby Sam and Vimes and trolls and dwarves and LOTS AND LOTS OF VIMES and trolls and dwarves and Sibyll and I've got a book..." all the way home.

WANT TO MAKE ICON of Sam's version of Where's My Cow?

Am now officially in LOVE with Willikins. (This is happening a lot lately. Either I'm going to marry a man who's far too old for me or I won't fall properly in love until I'm forty, when falling in love with a fifty-yo would be more appropriate.)

Is it me or is the V/V getting remarkably less subtextual? Or at least more presently subtextual?

OMG!Roleplaying taken to the ultimate level. Giving out Clubs! I love it!

Love the subversion of the clerk. Love it, love it.

And Detritus adopting Brick! Aw!

NOBODY threatens his family, dammit. And thank God for that.

I love Koom Valley.

I love Sally-Angua-Tawnee-Cheri bonding. That was just spectacular.

I especially love that Sally and Angua are still not the best of friends, still needling each other species-wise.

Tawnee/Nobby was just hilarious. As was the whole Slipper episode.

I will update on the Jen thing later. But it's too flipping late. I've only just finished the book and am GOING TO BED, sure to regret how late I stayed up tomorrow.

Night all.

*need to know I'll get my Carrot!fix*

Oh, yes. I mean, obviously nothing can top Fifth Elephant!Carrot, but he's far more present than in Night Watch.

I'm typing this with my eyes closed so forgive any typos. Can I like, borrow your book?

[identity profile] elucreh.livejournal.com 2005-09-20 09:18 am (UTC)(link)
You're in Provo right now, right? Let me get through it twice more and I'll lend it to you...it shouldn't take me past the weekend.

Provided you are the kind of person who returns borrowed books. *fixes you with stern glance*

Yeah, I'm in Provo. I live only a few blocks away from Jen, although I've never actually met her. Odd that.

Where are you? I know you're like in Utah someplace, but I don't know any specifics. I'm not going to have to drive all the way to like, Brigham City, am I? With gas prices the way they are, it would be cheaper to buy it than drive.

Oh, and yes, I return books. My overactive conscience requires me to do so. And if I didn't, I live at the law school so you could hunt me down and kill me where I lie. Law school is competitive enough that you'd probably get cheers from my fellow vultures.

Heeheehee.

I live in Sandy...be willing to meet you halfway, if you like. :) You could even give it to Jen when you're done, she'd see to it that it got back to me.

Er...sorry, that was me, there.

[identity profile] bacaninho.livejournal.com 2005-09-20 10:17 am (UTC)(link)
hehe... yeah, that's what I figured. I hate it when I do that. My hotmail address is eldersbailey and my msn messenger contact is bacaninho. I'm usually on but I don't always respond because of this pesky school thing I'm doing.

Speaking of such things....you need to get your cell phone. I'm coming to Sandy on Friday. Would you like me to drop it off?

Now THAT'S a catchy tune!

How've you been? I haven't talked to you in a while... I hope you're doing well!
