My little sister just got an e-mail account. How do I know this?:

Lol. I shall treasure it forever.

I think I did pretty well on my Latin test.

The single other thing I did today was go to the library and pick up some Jane Yolens I hadn't yet read (I have no idea why. I hate half her books...half of the ones leftover I find mediocre...but I really adore the quarter that I like. I love her kid's books, mostly, but I got some of her adult ones, which I usually hate. Hey! I've got a pathetic library here!), a couple of my fave L. M. Montgomeries, and the latest Eddings (*wince* I've heard it's bad). Then I cuddled up on my bed with my books and my slight stomachache.

Life is actually pretty okay.

The latest Eddings isn't GREAT, but it's not bad, either. Not as good as the Belgariad, but still entertaining.

Oh, good. I was scared. I love my Eddingses and I would hate to see them fall down on the job. :)

ROTFLMAO.

That was so adorable! Maybe you could get her to send everyone an e-mail? Hee hee. :)

Ummm...problem with that: if our parents found out how much about myself I spill all over the place, they might possibly forbid either of us to ever touch a computer. :P

But it is adorable, isn't it? *fond grin*

lol! same here... i tell them about lots of our good conversations to lure them into the false sense of security that i am telling them everything... but not even the half of it >:D lol, yeah, if they found out how much ya'll know, it would not be a happy day :P

awwwwwww.... that is the cutest thing! :D <3

wow! e-mail account at 7? 8-O i didn't get one till summer after 8th grade, and they only let me get it then b/c i told them that was the only way i'd be able to keep up with the ppl from our class, since we were all going our separate ways. even then, my dad insisted on setting it up himself, and they never really did give me the ok on IM's... i gave up on them deciding, after i asked soph. year i think, and just did it myself ;) lol! wow, the memories..

Lol, yeah, it's kind of a grand symbol of our society. My mom sent her first e-mail at the age of 42, I sent mine at the age of...erm...14-ish...Anna sent hers at 7. Crazy, ca non? Soon they'll type before they can talk.

One of the things I love abt Anne McCaffrey is the little details she includes to make her "future" seem real...and one of the things she has is that the ability to handwrite is an ancient art that only the upper classes know, and to recieve a handwritten note is a mark of unusual favor.

ooh that's cool! what books have that? i've only read a couple of hers, but i've been meaning to read more.
