A "Me" Day

elucrehPicked up the parents. On time and without killing anybody, despite the fact that I was driving their car. (Hideous enormous thing that gives me fear of running over small children without noticing.) Took them to their home, duly tattletaled, got gifts (yay! prettypretty earrings and a wonderful sarong), and went to my home to sleep for several hours.
When I woke up, I brought all my junk back in the house, chatted with the roommate, and went out to buy food. Bought a book from the library discards (the kind of thing that Bernard Black gives women when they ask for a "light holiday read" but pretty darn good, for all that.) Treated myself to a restaraunt dinner and ice cream from Maggie Moo's. (Cake batter flavor. OMG, this is the ice cream that they serve in heaven.)
I came home and settled in to a test of my theory that I could live in my chair. Test completely successful! Spent three happy hours with new amusing book without once getting up. Have most comfortable chair in the world.
You will all be hearing a lot about my chair. I adore my chair with an absolute passion. He now has a name: Squishy. *grins at Afterglow people and all Nemo fans* Squishy and I are going to have a long, satisfying relationship. Just so you're aware.
