Feb. 7th, 2006 09:51 pmWhy is it that whenever I want to call Ady and squee it is, like, eleven-thirty over there?
OMG NEW HOUSE!!!
She's GONE!!!! She's gone, she's gone, she's GO-ONE! And she's even gone in a way that won't make House mope for three episodes, which I thought was too much to hope for!
OMG, getting Cameron to open her mouth. And waiting for Foreman's time to be up. And being mean to Chase.
And HOW MUCH like this fic was that little convo? OMG I chuckled.
Stacy going to Cuddy for advice? And Cuddy being all mad at him for messing up her alliance? OMG I love my analogue...especially the imitation, OMG, I love her so much for that.
I loved, "You can't kill anybody till tomorrow," too.
WILSON HAD POT!!!
But WHAT an unhealthy idea to bring a child up with! You never fight with people you love? That girl is going to need SERIOUS THERAPY when she's trying to find a life partner! Which is a shame, because I really liked that one.
And...the Wilson? The Wilson was so awesome I can't breathe. All the House concern..."I can hear you caring!"...and the psychoanalysis and the defending him and the admission that he was the one who picked up all the pieces! *squeees out her ears*
The case this week I liked. I loved the elements of sacrifice and showing once again how uncompromising House can be--even for this woman he's obsessed with, he won't lie. He holds true to what he believes to be right, in a wierd and extremely Houseish way, regardless of how it affects him or anybody else. And really...neither he nor the patient is right in holding to their extremes, are they? Not to build a good relationship. I mean, CLEARLY the patient's marriage was unhealthy, but is House's brutal and extremely inconsiderate probing a good idea either? So I think he was right...I think Wilson was right too, but I think that in addition to keeping himself miserable, House thinks he is special for the kind of nobility that he ascribes to, and that he will be congratulating himself for some time on making the noble gesture of giving her up to keep her happy, and also, bless complicated little House's heart, that he really didn't want to face how incredibly awful he was going to feel when he drove her away again.
Let me make one final note on Cuddy: SO the fic writer when canon denies what she believes should happen. Am I right, or am I right?

Date: 2006-02-07 10:06 pm (UTC)Wow, SUCH a good episode! It made me squee with happy. ^_^ And yeah, between breaks, there was this one girl who kept going, "Yay, they're getting back together!" and so we all discussed House and ...honestly, I can never remember her name. Anyway, I kept singing the praises of House/Wilson, and halfway through the episode, Allison looked over at me and said, "I'm really beginning to see your point." And so when Wilson went on the roof, she looked over at me and I burst into giggles. ^_^ SO much fun.

Date: 2006-02-08 05:04 pm (UTC)Apologies. Actually, would like to apologise for calling at obscene 1 AM, too...I seriously had a) forgotten the time difference and b) thought it was like nine o'clock here, not eleven or whatever it was. *makes repentant faces*
