Men are lovely. They are currently among my favorites of God's creatures. (Though I am somewhat incongruously reading the 1st Wives Club--btw, I think we may have finally found a book that Katina likes better as a movie).

Be that as it may, I have faith in the entire male species at the moment.

I went to get groceries today, and was walking the fifteen minutes from the bus stop with four sharp-edged and heavy bags banging against my legs when from behind me there came the pleasant question: "Can I help?"

And then there was another nice one that opened the doors just before I dropped everything trying to open them.

And then there was Kendall's darling little brother, who made a comment so pathetically and adorably sulky-little-boy that I laughed for a long time...just when I was getting over it, I realised it was the kind of comment Jared always makes that makes me laugh the same way, and I laughed twice as long. I miss you, Jared...

So I am very pleased with you all for having Y chromosomes, and I would like to thank you: Chase, Colin, Tyler, Jared...for being the same kind of guy as the ones that made my day so bright, and for being such an important part of my life.
