Feb. 10th, 2004 06:01 pmLiz and I were talking about sex slaves a couple of days ago...and in a roundabout way it's made me think about the first guy I was ever interested in as a person...probably it was what amounts to a "crush" in a fifth grader, although I would never have thought of it that way.
He will always be ten years old, so *hops in handbasket*.
His name was Kevin. He made up creative spelling word sentences. He was a Star Wars freak. (Clearly, even at age ten, I had good taste.) He had a darling sense of humor and we actually talked to each other. Considering the fact that this is the only real conversation I can remember with a male peer up until I was fourteen...fifteen, really...he will always have a special place in my heart.
He was really cute, too. Gangly, with a pointed chin and darker skin and black hair...big, round glasses. All elbows...pointy, attractive elbows. I remember those...they poked out of these oversized T-shirts he was always wearing. And very nice dark eyes.
I wish I could remember his last name...it would be so cool to bump into him in later years. I think it started with an H...
