No hysterics this time--except happy ones.
Tears, though. Remus! And Tonks! And Fred, oh, my poor baby. And Hedwig! Oh, Hedwig! And even Mad-Eye. So yes, I'm crying. But most especially for Severus, who did just as he was told, in the end.
But mostly I'm happy.
My Snape theories were right, I got almost everything I'd wished for, and even as a bonus got to keep Hagrid...and there were further bonuses almost unbearably amazing.
Harry's recognition of Dumbledore and McGonagall as his parents!
Minerva commandeering the school!
Neville killing the snake! (Not quite as good as getting Bellatrix, but I will totally let it slide because it rocked) Also running the resistance movement and figuring out exactly how to work the room!
So many perfectly lovely Ronnishnesses that I can't even count them--Shocolate must be in high heaven. AND WE GOT OUR HUG, MY GOD, WE DID!!! And Kaalee must be over the MOON abt the Deamus.
And the final battle, where everybody I care about got his/her moment to shine, 'cept Draco. And I give up, when it comes to Draco, I will just read Maya instead. (And pray Maya isn't going to leave us hanging in the middle of her two fabulous fics.)
The WWII parallels weren't blindingly obvious there or anything, were they?
And...and...oh my lord, I can't focus enough for this.
Back later. I loved so much and was disappointed in so little, but I don't have any toothpicks for my eyelids...
