It would have gone off automatically this morning, and started hissing, and I would have stared at it in blank incomprehension and eventually it would have burnt on the hotplate and flooded the kitchen. And then Mom would have killed you, because the deal is that the coffee can't make the house smell.
But fortunately, I do read MCR fanfiction, and I know that when a coffeemaker starts hissing, it's because there is no pot inside it, and I managed to find the pot and give the coffee a place to go.
Technically, I guess, you could say that Gerard and Mikey Way saved your life. Consider buying an album.
