elucrehOkay, I now have a request. For all my friends who do occasionally go out drinking, and are not afraid of new cocktails (or whatever you call them now), will you experiment for me? I'll give you the name/recipe, and you review. Amount of buzz, taste, etc. And how pretty it looks in a glass. ^_^
This one especially:
Rosebud
Ingredients:
2 oz Citrus vodka (Smirnoff Citrus Twist)
1/2 oz Triple sec
1 oz Rose's sweetened lime juice
2 oz Grapefruit juice (pink or red)
Ice
Mixing instructions:
Fill collins glass with ice and add grapefruit juice Shake vodka, lime juice, and triple sec in shaker 1/2-full of ice. Strain on top of grapefruit juice
Arcadia
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Galliano
1/2 oz Creme de Banane
1/2 oz Grapefruit juice
Mixing instructions:
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
Ariel's Frappe Punch
Ingredients:
2 1/2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Acerola pulp
1 1/2 oz Grapefruit juice
1 tsp Sugar
Mixing instructions:
Blend all ingredients in blender and serve in Highball glass. Decorate with a Marashino chery and a grapefruit slice
Colonial Cocktail
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Grapefruit juice
1 tsp Maraschino liqueur
1 Olive
Mixing instructions:
Shake all ingredients (except olive) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Add the olive and serve.

Ingredients:
1 part Coconut liqueur (Bols Coconut Creole)
2 parts Grapefruit juice
Ice cubes
Mixing instructions:
Mix in highball glass. Stirr. Garnish with cherries.

1/2 oz Banana liqueur
1/2 oz Grapefruit juice

Combine equal parts over ice in cocktail shaker. Shake, strain, serve!!
Gumby's Ruby Red
Ingredients:
2 oz White rum
3 oz ruby red Grapefruit juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
Fill up Ice cubes
Mixing instructions:
Mix the Rum, grapefruit juice and pineapple juice. Stir well and add ice cubes to the top for a delicious drink.
Hemingway Daquiri
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Light rum
1/4 oz Maraschino liqueur
3/4 oz Lime juice
1/4 oz Grapefruit juice
Mixing instructions:
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

1/2 oz Peppermint schnapps
1 tblsp Grapefruit juice
1 tsp Powdered sugar
Mixing instructions:
Shake with ice cubes and pour into old-fashioned glass rimmed with salt.

3 cl Apricot brandy

Mixing instructions:
Build in a highball glass, on ice. Decorate with lime.

1/4 tsp Maraschino liqueur

Shake all ingredients (except cherry) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Add the cherry on top and serve.

45 ml Grapefruit juice
Tonic water
Mixing instructions:
Pour Passoa and grapefruit juice into a glass over ice cubes and fill with tonic water, stir, and serve.

1 splash Grapefruit juice
Mixing instructions:
Stir well with ice cubes and strain into a cocktail glass.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Light rum

Mixing instructions:
Pour all of the ingredients into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well.

1 1/2 oz Bourbon
1 1/2 tsp Apricot brandy
1 tblsp Grapefruit juice
1 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
1 dash Bitters

5 parts Campari
5 parts Grapefruit juice or orange juice
1 part Gin

1 part Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 part Midori melon liqueur
1 part Grapefruit juice
Mixing instructions:
Over ice mix equal parts of each alchohol. Top with the grapefruit juice. Shake to blend.

1 dash Maraschino liqueur

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

1 part Grapefruit juice

Mixing instructions:
Put the ice on the glass first and then pour the Campari. The grapefruit juice is next. The soda is the last ingredient to add. Stir only once.
