I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

(That was Annie's version. This is mine:

Some of you I know extremely well. *waves* 'Lo, Riddles! Some of you are just really nice and friended me because I worship the ground you walk on and friended you and you decided to do it back. *does "I am not worthy" groveling* The only person who does not fall into these categories is myf, who I adore *huggles myf*, but I honestly have no clue how she found me, she just wished me a happy birthday and we get along swimmingly!)

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

Little known fact about me: My personal mascot is the Three Wise Monkeys (See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil). I do not always live up to them, but they are for me adorable and ideal and funny, funny, funny. My lucky socks have monkeys on them, and my friends give me Three Wise Monkey keychains and knickknacks and t-shirts.

This is one of my favorite pics of my friends...they shot it just for me!

Never mind, nobody could see it. It was the guys doing my monkeys.

Hmm. I am slightly confused as to what I am supposed to do. So I will tell you a little known fact about me: I do NOT like spinach. And a well known fact: I made up a song earlier this year about monkeys, and nearly everyone in band has it memorized and sings it daily. I think most of them know I made it up, but some do not. Meh. ^_^

Yes, tell me a fact. You got it right!

Really? I did not know that about the song. Can you type me the lyrics?

It starts like this:

If I had a monkey, I would name it BO.
If I had a llama, I would name it JOE.

Then, there are random animals, and random names that are sung until the singer runs out of animals. I sang this song (with help) for an hour and a half while waiting in line for a ride in Hollywood. I've no idea why the first two lines are always the same, or where the song came from, but everyone seems to enjoy it.

Lu loves me! *huggles her* And love, the reason you adore me is because I'm adorable. It's the only reasonable explanation.

I think I found you from recognising your name from SQ. Hurrah for SQ!

OK, then - fact about me. (I'd better make this interesting, huh.) Right: the ring finger on my right hand is about 1cm shorter than the ring finger on my left hand, due to a tragic and extremely painful accident when I was 4 and a half. Yes, I cut off the top of my finger. Ouchies.

What a pleasant thing for you to think every time I leave a comment!

Oh, and your piccy isna working. :(

Cool link to their lj thingie: [lj user="lizabethy"] except with pointy brackets. ;)

Also an LJ cut is [lj-cut] or [lj-cut text="whatever you want the link to say"], again with pointy brackets (at the end of whatever you want to cut, just put [/lj-cut]. This would be helpful if you have a long entry or a picture (which isn't working by the way).

If you want to link to something, you can type [a href="http://www.checkmated.com]Checkmated[/a] (pointy brackets). That might help with pictures.

Ok, random fact, random fact...damn this is hard. I've been coming up with so many lately. Ok: I was born a full 28 days late. My poor mom.

want to see your pic, but i can't!

hmm, random fact..
my right thumb is about 1/4 an inch shorter than my left thumb, but not because of any painful accidents as a child. i really have no idea why it's like that, it just always has. it's fat and stubby, and the only thing i've been able to get around it was a key ring i was playing with one day, so it stays there. and ppl randomly ask me why i have a key ring as a ring.
and i say because it's a ring, duh!
no actually i don't say that
and my left thumb is abnormally long. so they look really weird together

ok yeah, since myf already did one like that, i guess i should do another.

umm.. i used to think i had a lot of freckles, but now i realize the only place i have real freckles is on my nose. all the rest are moles, just non-bumpy ones. and i have them in the most random places, too; 5 on my palms/the inside of my hands/fingers (one of which has been there my whole life and is getting really faded, the other 4 have come the past couple years), one on the webby part between fingers, one on my ankle. and in about 4 different spots- my neck, just next to the inside of my elbow, shoulder, and another part of my arm, i have this weird pattern of moles, it looks like a 30-60-90 right triangle, with one poing bigger than the other 2, and it's exactly the same in all those 4 places. pretty weird.. i always pretended it meant i was supposed to live with fairies or something. um, yeah, maybe i still pretend that...

:D and you only *thought* you knew me well, didn't you, my long-named Riddle? ;)

My store of random facts is becoming sirisuly depleted. . .

As a kid, I watched many more shows on PBS than on network television. This could be because we didn't have cable, but I really liked PBS shows. Other people remember watching Care Bears and Pound Puppies and stuff like that, and I watched a few episodes I suppose, but the shows that I remember watching the most were Today's Special and 3-2-1- Contact and Reading Rainbow and Square One TV. In fact, I think my favorite show as a child was Square One, which is incredibly ironic considering my relationship with math. :P The trend has continued-- I loved Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (so sad that the Chief died), can sing most of the music videos from Bill Nye the Science Guy ("The faster you push me, the farther I get-- you're adding velocity"), and can quote Arthur at the drop of a hat ("I said banana. Banana was my idea. Without me, there is no banana!"). And as recently as a few years ago, I've been found watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood with a dreamy smile on my face. I hope my kids like PBS as much as I do, but if they don't I'll probably end up watching it without them. :P

Lol! That's SO cool...me too! I never was into the "My Little Ponies" or "Care Bears", but I adored Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, and Shining Time Station!

*feels bonded to wahlee...can't wait to meet her!*
