1. Being in a group of people who know me really, really well. I'm good at maintaining a facade of wellness with people I feel the need to be "public" with, but if I need to be hyper or dragged out because of a rotten day, I love being with people who simply accept this as a part of the Lu-ness.

2. Reading cheesy teen romance novels. Their predictability is soothing and their optimism cheering.

3. Reading humour and/or crack!fic.

4. Long, hot showers with a book.

5. Bundling up in an enormous old comforter watching an old favorite movie.

6. Dollar store shopping.

7. Hot cocoa. With graham sticks. No marshmallows.

You use books that you can get wet. (Not from the library, and not that you care about keeping in good condition. But favorite paperbacks that are battered and abused anyway, for instance.) And then you keep the book at the other end of the shower, so it's only a little wet.
