GAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

...I hate my job.

I love my work. I love my work. I love my kids, and I love what I do for and with them.

I HATE MY JOB. I hate incompetent management, I hate impractical and idiotic curriculuum.

Know what I really hate, though?

Being two people understaffed and being told that THE MOST EXPERIENCED PERSON WE HAVE, AFTER ME, GAVE HER NOTICE AND THAT ANOTHER GIRL IS PLANNING ON WALKING OUT ON US AFTER FRIDAY.

What are we going to do?

I ask you, what the hell are we going to do?

Also, I pulled a muscle in my back. I cannot bend over without pain. CAN YOU GUESS HOW MUCH FUN I'LL BE HAVING WITH THE CLASS OF TWO-YEAR-OLD KIDS TOMORROW?

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Chin up. It can't last forever, right? And get that back looked at. Back problems are NOT something to ignore.

Seconded! Get a doctor to have a look at it. If you're really lucky they might sign you off sick and then work won't be your problem any more. ;)

No! Now I'm used to understaffed workplaces, but even so, that's pretty bad.

*hugs* Start jobhunting. *nods*

Not fun. Most definately not fun. *hugs*

Have you thought anymore about the possibility of becoming a nanny? I know you were planning on possibly going up to USU, but if you decided to hold off on that you could always nanny. I've been looking at jobs lately (for no real reason) and there are loads of nanny jobs opening right now full time/part time...live in or live out.

*sigh*...I can't.

I can't leave my kids.

I can't leave my assistant, who has almost no experience, to handle the workload.

Nobody who works there deserves what my leaving would do.

And I can't leave my kids. I can't leave Brenna telling me, "You're happy!", I can't lose Chris and his babblings of airplanes and luggage and acoustic guitars, I can't not see the Blonde Brat for more than a week. When I am forced to leave this job for school, I will be crying. I am going to put off the evil day as long as possible.

I know what you mean. It was torture leaving my students in Sandy. TORTURE. And it will be torture if I have to leave my Provo students.
