Okay, so I was terrified of watching the VM season finale.

No, seriously. The reaction all over my flist was bleh, and I'd just been re-watching the good old days on DVD, season one, when I fell in love with the characters and the show: when hey, Logan was a jerk with a crowbar and Wallace was a kickass sidekick with connections and Mac was a fabulous cutesy computer genius who talked girltalk but didn't simper and we couldn't quite trust Weevil but the alliance was still handy as hell and Keith was the best dad ever and Veronica was a smart, snarky bitch who got a kick out of revenge, including but not limited to living well.

But despite my terror, I made myself, because I've always been masochistic like that.

And you know what?

I think they went out the way they came in, despite all the disappearances and detours, and baby, I can't ask for more than that.

My babies came out of this just fine.

*collapses in exhausted relief*

I don't understand why people have been so "meh." I adored it--it seriously was right back to form in all the best ways. If the whole season had been like that...
