Which is just, I don't know exactly, dumb? Is probably the word?

Because look, okay, I listen to music a lot, I mean I make it be playing in my vicinity, but it is Sesame Street songs and the country music my big sister indoctrinated me with in my impressionable youth and the filk that I grow steadily more addicted to with each recommendation made/CD released by Seanan McGuire. I may have heard one or two songs in the course of swiping random fanmixes, but seriously I had no idea who was playing.

And they aren't even PRETTY. Which, okay, I know probably half of you just backed away from the monitor in horror but seriously, SERIOUSLY, these guys aren't my type. And I don't know who they are, despite all the primers helpfully provided, or at least I didn't, but--

I just, I was reading this charming Spencer/Jon, in which Spencer found socks in Jon's glove compartment, and I was all wait, isn't Jon the one who always wear flip flops? and then I was all OH MY GOD I know which one always wears flip flops (maybe, I think) and then the surrealness just sort of washed over me.

I guess I want recs...??? Or to be smacked with a ruler, or something...? I don't know, I'm still a little confused as to WHY I am letting this HAPPEN.

But the stories are good.

I dunno.

It's just...weird.

I am such a fandom seamstress, oh my god.

Heee! I may be kicked around by bandom people for saying this but the best thing about bandom is really the fics because the gay basically writes itself (even more than with J2; tinhats aren't even all that necessary *g*). The music? Not so much *coff*

Also, P!atD are the only pretty ones, really. Although Bill Beckett (The Academy Is...) and Mikeyway (My Chemical Romance) are also very lovely. And I have a soft spot for My Chemical Romance because I think they're the most talented. Also, Mikeyway is made of win \o/
