DEAD.

We saw EIGHT apartments today.

EIGHT.

In the good news, we have it narrowed down to two pretty awesome choices.

In the bad news, one has awesome roommate people but has several disadvantages to do with distance and parking and bathrooms, and one is an awesome apartment but I don't get to meet the people first.

Bleh.

For most of today I've been sitting--driving to College Town, driving from apartment to apartment, driving back from College Town--why am I so EXHAUSTED??

Also, I should make myself break down in a trust-locked entry, because I've been having mild dizziness, which is a sure sign of stress (nothing like as bad as when I was on gluten, but still happening.) But I'm too tired to have a nervous breakdown!

Oh, honey, EEK. That is a LONG day. I hope you can figure out soon which apartment to aim for. (Would it help to consider which of those downsides would be more stressful to you long term? Like, could you hide out in your room a lot happily if you didn't get on with roomies, or would it be better to deal with not-the-best location?)

Right now the larger, quiet, private room sounds infinitely more appealing than even the most suitable of company, but that's because I'm still worn out and rough-edged with it. I've promised myself not to make any decisions until I'm rested and sane again.

...on the other hand, school is pretty well guaranteed to be a day like today every day, thanks to the whole agoraphobia thing, so perhaps it makes more sense to listen to how I'm feeling now? *sigh*

That's understandable. And if you can hold off on the decision for a day or two that's probably a good plan, yes.

And, well, yes, more than likely that, too. Mrrh. :/ *hugs carefully*

BECAUSE FLATHUNTING IS HARD AND THERE'S EIGHT OF THEM AND IT INVOLVES TALKING TO LOTS OF NEW PEOPLE IN UNFAMILIAR ENVIRONMENTS.

Try and get some rest, hon. You've had a knackering day.

AND CONVINCING THEM I'M NOT CRAZY AND THEY WANT TO LIVE WITH ME. ARGH.

Sleep helped.

...

I just typed my thoughts out to you for like, six paragraphs and got to the end of it and went...so basically I've made up my mind.

So, uh...thanks for the imaginary advice?
