Hit a roadblock in my H/C fic that is kind of making me want to cry. I should go for a walk or something, but I already had to do class and stuff and I want to be DONE. I think I'm blocked because I'm stressing about it, but it's really not helping me NOT BE BLOCKED to know that.

Possibly it is because I went around saying, "It's almost done, I'm so excited!" Let that teach me to be an optimist.

BAH.

Aw. I hope it won't stress you more to say that I'm super excited about your story - I have been waiting for someone to write daredevil Brendon forever, and I'm so glad it's you!

(Also, dude, if it's something that might benefit from an outside opinion, I'm totally open!)

I just...I think I killed the point of it. Somehow. I sort of talked myself around to making the opposite point of what I wanted to make and just...argh. It may be time to fall back on plan B, and come back to this story from a different angle later. I'm not sure this story is the story of daredevil!Brendon. It's definitely the story of demandingyoungestchild!Brendon, but I had the daredevil sort of tied into that aspect and I think it's a separate story.

In some ways it'll make it easier to finish, I think--it becomes a much simpler story. It's just frustrating...A) because I have spent a lot of time building this story, B) because I have wasted a lot of time since I got blocked trying to make it work, C) because weeding it out and rewriting the bits I have to pull is going to be annoying, and D) because I want to tell this story. *sigh*
