Top five reasons Spencer should get mad at Brendon but doesn't.

From: [identity profile] elucreh.livejournal.com
1. Brendon is a morning person, and can't restrain it at all. In any way. Spencer is manifestly NOT a morning person, and Brendon knows that, but it doesn't stop him being bright and loud before coffee.

2. Brendon is terrible at remembering to be consistent with the dogs' training. He's always petting them when they jump on the sofa, or riling them up right before bedtime.

3. Brendon is a smug and crowing winner of everything, be it video game, argument over whose turn it is to do the dishes, or complicated bet re: the sexuality of Pete's baby bands, in front of said baby bands.

4. Brendon is really bad at giving Spencer space. Even though that is actually Spencer needs, not just something he is saying, he needs to be away from Brendon, sometimes from PEOPLE, in order to function. He needs private time. Brendon comes and cuddles with him all the time when he is trying to have time by himself. This is especially bad after arguments when Spencer is trying to get distance and talk himself down, and Brendon is trying to charm his way back into Spencer's good graces.

5. Brendon is a terrible, terrible flirt. With fans, people in clubs, producers, whoever and whatever crosses his path. Spencer should be jealous, mad, whatever. But he genuinely trusts Brendon, and Brendon flirting is so dorky and hapless and adorable that Spencer just can't muster negative feelings in the face of that.

In no particular order

1. The time it just suddenly occurred to [livejournal.com profile] shihadchick that she had never told me Zack once said to her that Brendon's hips don't lie.

2. The incredible fic that was once written for me for an HP ficathon, by somebody who didn't even know me very well. We were mutual flisters but not much more--I think we knew each other from one of my RPs?--but anyway she went to incredible depths of research to make it the most incredibly tailored gift I have ever recieved, including the socks my brothers got me with the three wise monkeys on them.

3. The time [livejournal.com profile] innie_darling wrote me as a Mary Sue who was married to my very favorite original character in my very favorite of her fics for my birthday.

4. The time [livejournal.com profile] shihadchick sent me a RECORDING of Zack's DBC speech. (Um, Claire appears on this list a lot. And if it were a longer list, she would appear even more.)

5. The time [livejournal.com profile] thalialunacy took me to the Witching Hour. How incredible is that? Is she?

Top five movies? Or, more specifically, top five movies you want to see re-cast as bandom AUs?

Top five in general, not in any order:

The first Pirates of the Caribbean, Maverick, Princess Bride, First Wives' Club, Stranger than Fiction.

AUs: I desperately want a Spencer/Brendon Runaway Bride and most desperately of ALL, a That Touch of Mink with Spencer and Brendon. I want somebody to recast Emma with Spencer as Knightly and Ryan as Emma and Brendon as Harriet and Jon as the weed farmer who loves him. I want my Hello, Dolly AU, and I don't even really know who I would cast as what, but I would love love love love LOVE a Mirror Has Two Faces AU.

My default is Brendon, I'm afraid!

Bouncy, grin, rad, lantern, brave.

No need to apologize for that, definitely!

The first two made me, well, grin, and lantern is just. Unexpected, but. Yes. Now I shall always associate 'lantern' with Brendon (:

Brendon Urie: my spiritual inspiration.

...it's terrifying, now I come to define it.

That would explain a lot, I think \o/

Although, at least Brendon is happy and optimistic and talented :D I could think of worse candidates for spiritual inspiration - for example, I may have a tendency to idealize Ryan Ross, so that's possibly more terrifying.

Top five gifts you've ever been given.

1. My mascot is the Three Wise Monkeys (hear no, see no, speak no) and I have a thing for funny socks, and once Middle Bro found me SOCKS WITH THE THREE WISE MONKEYS.

2. A friend once paid my way to a HP convention, and that was the most incredible experience.

3. My mother once got me a bracelet with punctuation typewriter keys. It's one of my favorite things I've ever worn.

4. My great-grandmother quilted me a picture quilt of ducks before I was born; I still have and love it. (Mine is the only quilted rather than crocheted one, because I was first. Sometimes I am still smug about it in my secret soul.)

5. The personalised Remus fanart that Soulmate gave me my first birthday away from everything I'd ever known.

1. Everyone is legally a full citizen and human being, with all rights pertaining thereto.

2. Efficient, quality medical care for all.

3. Efficient, quality education for all who wish to pursue it; efficient, quality training in jobs they will enjoy for those who don't.

4. Parenting qualifications determined through a rigorous selection process; I realise this is straight out of The Giver and I don't give a fuck. Yes, all parents screw up, but they should screw up within acceptable parameters.

5. ...I'm not sure I have a five.

Obviously, none of this is really doable, but...it's nice to dream.
