Mar. 19th, 2004 08:53 amFirst off: This is a public entry for a reason. I want to tell those of you who were once on my flist that I was forced to trim it due to severe time constraints. Nothing personal, I just don't know you very well and kept having to go back two pages when I had left the computer for more than twelve hours.
Okay, updates:
We went shopping yesterday, and this time we took the guys. They tried on suits and they were very handsome but it made me depressed because they're leaving me in suits too soon.
We went to a community theatre of Wizard of Oz--Kimi's little siblings were in it--and some of it was so bad but we got to see some great ad-libbing. The "pole stuck up the scarecrow's back" line immediately made me think "phallic symbolism"--I'm going mad and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!! *shoots a grin* The little doggy was mostly well-trained but we had some amusing bits where he ran the wrong way or couldn't be found.
SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD. So many great moments, great lines...not at all too anti-Middle East-they're-all-fanatics, which was good. Parallels between English lady and Arabic lady fascinating. Could not resist whispering to Amy, after "I'll sleep on it, ma'am," "--Just not on you." YOUR FAULT AGAIN.
Shopping with maternal figure today. Joy.
