Give me a link to one of my fics, and I'll give you three details that didn't make it into the fic. Background canon, deleted scenes, or a look into the future. My choice, but if you have a specific question you can ask it in your request.
(Oh, hey, you can probably also just say "the one with the..." and I would probably know that, too, or titles or whatever.)

Date: 2011-08-10 04:58 am (UTC)2) There was sooooooooooo much of Spencer's thought processes that I didn't get to put in; I'm still a little sad about it. The thing is, I think after Spencer made himself give Ryan to Keltie he also did some intense self-analysis and forced himself to see the negatives of what he and Ryan had together. He wasn't ever...quite...able to believe them whole-heartedly, to believe that all the unhealthiness meant it was a bad thing, their being together, but he was better able to realise that a lot of it was bad; which is really the only way he survived giving it up. (Also: this is why he saw Shane so very clearly and had so very much sympathy for him. I think I managed to imply that in the fic but, you know.) I think their relationship has a much better shot this time around, with Ryan admitting to things and Spencer aware of what the pitfalls were.
3) I think Shane and Spencer are each other's "best friend", in the way where their supposed "best friend"s are too complicated to really fulfill the role. For relationship talks, for casual time together, for all the rest of it, for the role your best friend in high school played...Shane and Spencer can be there for each other without it getting double-meaninged, cross-examined, scrutinized. And I'm really glad they have each other for that, because they need it.
4)Extra wee bonus thing, just for you: the family procedures from the Urie family thing are lifted pretty much straight from my family; when we go out as an enormous group, the married women collect their husband/childrens' orders, go to the register, and carry the food back to the table while the men and single people (who are still classified as children, naturally) take the kids to the table and entertain them. That moment of hesitation from Brendon's mom when she gets to Brendon and Shane and doesn't know whether to classify them both as her problem, or count them as married but then which is the "wife", or what, gives me enormous self-satisfaction even though as a hint it's way too subtle for people who aren't MY FAMILY, but...it still does. LOL.

Date: 2011-08-15 12:04 am (UTC)1) Zack learns to love Ryan when Ryan is really mean to Brendon's mom behind Brendon's back. Zack and Ryan have the most similar attitudes to Brendon's family out of everybody who knows Brendon AT ALL.
2) My last concert, Zack came by while we were waiting at the barriers and duct-taped all the spots where they were connected; he said they'd had an incident where the barrier pinched a girl's finger off, and so now he does that everywhere they go. Imagine a Boywrangling where that happens and Zack totally freaks out and the guys have to rally around him and be his rock, for a change.
3) Zack is Amelie and the new baby's favorite jungle gym
