That was, oddly enough, MY first thought, too. But then I was like, well, but would he like somebody just because he identifies with him?

Welllll there's quite a lot of interviews with Jesse talking about the characters he's played and his number one thing seems to be some kind of change or growth or arc he can play out as an interesting story but he also talks quite a lot about identifying with them. So... either Tiffany Aching or Rincewind, I'd say.
