Okay...

If you can beg, borrow, or steal a copy of I'm with Stupid by Gene Weingarten and Gina Barreca--go get it. And read it now. I picked it up , and it's just incredible. *clasps book to her bosom* The first book on men-women relationships and differences written by a man and a woman, incredibly funny and insightful. She's a rampant feminist with a sense of humor; he's a humor columnist with as non-chauvanistic a pov as you could find in a guy. They've never met--it was all written electronically and over the phone--but the chemistry between them (not romantically or sexually, they're both married and fidelitous, etc., but just as a team) is incredible. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!

Although I think that the slashers on my flist would probably object to the question (asked by the woman, btw) "Why are men turned on by the thought of two women having sex but the idea of two men having sex but the idea of two men having sex doesn't do a thing for a woman?" Heheh. If I think about how many times I've heard ravings about the "hot boy smut..."

And now some memes

The Real Life Meme: So many of us know so many stupid things about each other due to endless lists like these. We know what we look for first in the other gender, our favorite colors, and whether we pee in the shower (permit me to say: WTF???) But we still mix up which of our best friends is in Missouri and which is in Mississippi. Be as specific or vague as you like, answer only the questions you feel comfortable with but some of your web friends might like to know the basic facts that people you meet in bars immediately find out.
