Does anybody know whether Bilius was Ron's uncle on his father's side or his mother's side? I need to know before I can proceed with the characterisation in a fic I'm doing.

AFAIK it's not specified which side of the family Bilius was on, but given that Gideon and Fabian Prewett were probably Ron's maternal uncles my inclination would be to believe that Bilius was Arthur's brother.

I'm with you on this one. I seem to remember JKR saying that Arthur had two brothers. The past tense is important there, as it would seem to indicate that at least one of them is dead.

Whit and I were talking yesterday and she was telling me about an interview with JK that she had read in which she said Arthur had two brothers. We both think that again dew to the prewetts being on Molly's side that Bilius is on Arthur's.
