OML!!

One of my favorites of my kids...tiny, blonde hair, blue eyes, fragile look...three years old...spent half an hour teaching her fellow students to break dance. It was the funniest thing in the world!!

And one of the babies said good-bye to her best friend!

1. [livejournal.com profile] bluedaisy: One of my very favorite cheerer-uppers. I've missed you since you haven't been around as much, but I'm still in your corner when you need me! And, of course, you write lovely fluff

2. [livejournal.com profile] jo_rowling: This was a brilliant idea. I wish you would go on doing it! You made so many of us laugh.

3. [livejournal.com profile] archchancellor: I still don't know you as well as I'd like, but you make me laugh often and I get warm fuzzies from knowing a relationship like yours is out in the world

4. [livejournal.com profile] redblaze: Every once in a while I still have to stop and go, "I KNOW her. I talk to her! She has a vague idea who I am. Eeek!" But behind my enormous fangirling I've come to know you as a person with an incredibly cute baby, who has troubles I keep in my prayers. You make me laugh and are a very good friend.

5. [livejournal.com profile] fluffyllama: One of my random friendings…I added you mostly because so many people already on my flist were talking about you and I found your user amusing. Since then I've learned you live up to the promisle of your handle.

6. [livejournal.com profile] chickadilly: You make me laugh nearly every time I read your journal. I probably have more "funny" category memories from you than anyone else I know.

7. [livejournal.com profile] zuzuanni: I miss you! We were only beginning to be friends when the both of us disappeared, but you were an amazing help with a thon and you were very fun.

8. [livejournal.com profile] mollymoon: One of those people I always feel vaguely guilty about, but try to ignore my guilt and can't help loving anyway. You are fiendishly inventive when it comes to persecution, and always talk as though you really know what you're saying.

9. [livejournal.com profile] leftsockarchive: Another fun person whose writing I adore. And a much more responsible beta than I am.

10. [livejournal.com profile] guardianista: I ship two of your characters. Then you write outtakes and I ship then with other people. Finally I throw in the towel and, in despair, vote for an orgy. Write it for me?

11. [livejournal.com profile] certifieddork: I still can't remember who friended whom, but I'm glad we did! Your fluff is lovely and we can perve together. ^_^

12. [livejournal.com profile] shaycaron: You were the very first person to refer to yourself as a "fangirl" of mine. Therefore I strongly approve of your existence. LOL…you are also a lot of fun.

13. [livejournal.com profile] kiwi_cow: You're just…essentially, uniquely you. I would be going stir crazy without by now. I adore you.

14. [livejournal.com profile] allichan: You're very entertaining in that you actually have the life so many girls think they will have when they go to college. I like watching your life, if only for the knowledge that somebody really does live the way people do on TV.

15. [livejournal.com profile] lysrouge: You play and write a lovely, lovely Ron. And you're fun as a person, too!

16. [livejournal.com profile] ladyg_funk: I've missed you this summer…you're such a sweet and fun person, but neither of us has been around a lot. You were one of my earliest CM friends, and you have a special place in my heart.

17. [livejournal.com profile] shibbyskids: Lord, what would my life be like without you? Much the poorer, that's for certain. You add a texture and color to my daily life that I would be a much worse person without.

18. [livejournal.com profile] miz_jona: I miss you and your writing, but I'm so proud of your accomplishments! Doctorhood, here you come! And then (I hope, I hope) you can get back to the whole, "Harry as an interior decorator" thing?

19. [livejournal.com profile] florahart: I'm not sure you know who I am, but I am such a huge fangirl of yours. I love your H/D with a passion that is almost unholy.

20. [livejournal.com profile] tonksnymphadora: Hint: your SO's applies to you, too. *g*

21. [livejournal.com profile] anamchara: Another of the CM crowd that I wish I knew a bit better. I love following your life, work drama and all…you always manage to make it interesting.

22. [livejournal.com profile] susy_gwen: Although I don't know you well, I loved meeting you and you always offer excellent advice when I need it.

23. [livejournal.com profile] gaineewop: I wish I could be around more during the day, as I miss talking to you and getting sneak peaks at the many works of yours that I fangirl hugely.

24. [livejournal.com profile] thaliachaunacy: My best online friend. You amuse me, listen to me, reassure me, and babble at me. You let me Molly you and then promise me that I'm not overwhelming anybody with my protectiveness. And, of course, you write great…everything.

25. [livejournal.com profile] eviljen341: I am rarely more grateful for a friendship than I am for yours. You sweeten my life just by being a part of it.

26. [livejournal.com profile] akazaam: A person that I miss horribly now that my online time has been cut down so badly. You make me laugh…and you plan one heckuva party!

27. [livejournal.com profile] invisblegrl: Recent developments in your life have made me happy! And you are a lot of fun to do girltalk with.

28. [livejournal.com profile] lync:Both of us feel hugely guilty for not writing…but even if it never gets written, it brought a new, fun friend into my life, and I think that's worth it all by itself.

29. [livejournal.com profile] divadivine:You have forced me to define myself in so many ways that I will always count you a major factor in my life. And you are an amazing friend.

30. [livejournal.com profile] lizabethy:You inspire me, let me fuss over you, and make me laugh all the time. A friend that I would sorely, sorely miss.

31. [livejournal.com profile] caledon_reganum: Someone to squee over Pratchett with! That alone…even discounting all your other amazing qualities…would make you one of my favorite people.

32. [livejournal.com profile] watersedge1:My best online male friend. I miss talking to you as much as I'd miss three or four fingers. You're who I'm missing most right now.

33. [livejournal.com profile] hughroe:Another fun guy who I would be very, very sad to be without, even though I haven't been able to get to know you very well.

34. [livejournal.com profile] corvidae9:Although I only recently met you, I adore you fiercely, having taken you into my clan and declared you one of my own. Your poetry I love…and the poet, I admire hugely.

35. [livejournal.com profile] scribbulus_ink:You. Guh. The reason RL/SS is one of my OTPs, the reason I am so fond of NL/HP, the writer of the fic that I bite my nails expecting and then have dreams about because I want to know what is happening for them.

36. [livejournal.com profile] bana05:An OC I adore. Very few people have managed this!

37. [livejournal.com profile] gryfindormia:Wow…life would be quieter without you around, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

38. [livejournal.com profile] thetreacletart: You make me laugh. You write amazing fic. You have amazing insights. You are one of my very favorite people, on or off the web.

39. [livejournal.com profile] altheaharper: You are just one of the best people I could possibly have as a friend. You make me want to be better and are still as insane and enjoyable as a girl could want in a friend.

40. [livejournal.com profile] shocolate:Although your OTP-focus makes me laugh, your fic makes me "Guh." So I am not complaining at all.

41. [livejournal.com profile] franny_riddle:I miss your sweetness and "seeing" you as much as I used to. I will, I will comment more often!

42. [livejournal.com profile] adidi:I friended you trusting you to make me laugh…and you have more than succeeded already!

43. [livejournal.com profile] violet_quill:You. Are. Amazing. I fangirl you beyond the horizons. Especially after…well, that would give it away, wouldn't it?

44. [livejournal.com profile] eyesofgreen17:I miss you, my earliest friend. Very much.

45. [livejournal.com profile] jsguardian:I have never had cause to regret Amiel reccing you to me, although I wish I took the time to comment more often. Gah! Time!

46. [livejournal.com profile] the_portkey:You are one of my sages. And, of course, in the writing area, one of my goddesses. And, of course, a horrible person. But I know I can come to you when I am confused and teary, and that you'll talk me out.

47. [livejournal.com profile] bacaninho:You're still entertaining…yay! I have an e-mail around here somewhere that I've been meaning to send you…

48. [livejournal.com profile] myf:Of everyone I've met through SQ, you are my favorite. You rec me books that I fall in love with, you sympathize with me when I moan, and you are someone that I love having as a small part of my daily life.

49. [livejournal.com profile] adalanne:There are no words for how much you mean to me. You are a valued part of my life for so many reasons. And dang it, your chapter is DONE, why don't I send it?

50. [livejournal.com profile] zanymuggle:I feel horrendous about what a bad beta I've been lately. Send me a chapter! I promise I'll be good! But aside from the guilt (which is not at all your fault), you're a great guy. And I love working with you.

51. [livejournal.com profile] lina_granger:I've missed you, Greek girl! Come back!

52. [livejournal.com profile] wahlee_98:Your life is fun to watch, though I don't participate very often. And you can organise, girl!

53. [livejournal.com profile] kells:Another Riddle I miss. There are far too many of you…wah! Go on being yourself, and I'll do my best to catch up.

Oh, and yeah, P.S. for RL people;

Kimi got an LJ!! [livejournal.com profile] kiwi_cow

You know, I suspected that I was #8, but my low self-esteem always keeps me from posting my guesses to these memes. Like, 'what right do I have to assume that so-and-so took the time to write about me?' sort of thing.

The persecution thing is (sadly) dead on. And I'm glad that I at least sound informed. Whether I actually am or not is questionable.

Why guilty though?

PS - I adore you. So don't feel guilty.

Becaaaauuuse! *wails* I never get my beta jobs back to you on tiiiimme! And then I feel guilty.

I love your inventive persecutions.

LOL, I'm the same way, though, I just hope that they'll post a list in the end. ^_^

I know...it's actually the SOLE thing keeping me from moving out of this house. Possibly I could save for it in that case...the problem with that being that if I'm still here then they might chain me to the bed to keep me from going to meet online people.

Who says they have to know everything. Besides, is there anyone there who would travel with you? It's a good cause! I'm sure there's someone in the fandom that lives near you. Maybe you can travel together to save expenses...even drive. Hey, and if you drove, we could meet somewhere along the way and ride together--like in a big long caravan of HP fandom freaks folks.

Caravans! Wheee!

Although...I don't know if you saw this, LJ's been whacky lately...TC has made the absolutely incredible offer to pay for me to go. (!!!!!!!!!!!)

Which means that I can move out, and just...not tell them anything! Oh, I can't wait to see you!!!

You're...MOVING OUT?! *dances*

Yeah I just now saw that. I was getting ready to reply again when I noticed your reply pop up in my email. lol

That's so awesome of Thalia. She's the best, isn't she? And you're more than welcome to room with me, and I won't even make you sleep on the floor. And I'll keep my hands to myself! :P Who knows, though? In a year, we might both have SO's or even...*gasp*...be married. o.o A lot can happen in a year.

Now we just have to campaign to get certain other individuals here. Like Tiffany, and a few of the long shots like Lina and El. Though El would probably not be interested, I'm still going to BEG AND PLEAD.

;)

And I can't wait to meet you! I am so going to hug your brains out.

Well, let's think. My grandparents traveled all over the world during their lifetimes, mostly post-60. My parents used part of their inheritance to go to England. My brother used his to go on a trip with his best mate (yeah, they went to Vegas, but I think they'd forgive him).

In June I will have my 26 THOUSAND dollars waiting for me from those grandparents. I am going to use most of it for school yes, as my parents are using most of their for retirement and my brother still has 20K in the bank. But I don't see anyone glaring down at me from heaven for making myself and a bunch of other people incredibly happy for a week.

So, yes, I'm serious.

:D :D :D

The issue is that the money won't be mine until June. I scraped together enough to register, but you haven't, and neither has D, who I'm also forcing into going. Also, I don't know how the whole hotel thing works--do you have to pay when you reserve? No clue. Flights I think can wait until then.

:does jig of joy:

Okay, so...I will work out the hotels, and I can probably manage registration before January when the prices go up. Most hotels require only a small down payment, if any. How many rooms? If you were wanting to do one, I can sleep on Bethy's floor or something--no offense, but I have absolutely no intention of sharing a room with you and Diana. As much as I love you both, there are things I can live without seeing.

I was poking around the site, and they had links to hotel sites, etc. The lowest-price was a small bed and breakfast place that looked nice. Cats, though...didn't you tell me you were allergic? There were a few other possibilites, too, and there is probably also a place like a Motel 6 or something that would be about half as much as the lowest prices the convention lists.

Small down I can probably do. ...I honestly hadn't thought about rooms! :boggle: I thought Beth was staying with Zu? Maybe you could too? Or find someone who'd split a room with you (that you're willing to do so with, of course), unless of course you want to be alone. I luuuurve bed and breakfasts, and although I am allergic to cats it's not deathly and definitely not a deterrent.

Problem! The only B&B that takes reservations this early is booked solid. One other one will take them online, so I'm trying that. If we can't get rooms in either of them, we have two options...I can call in April, June, and/or September, when the others (including the one where they "bake their own muffins" ^_^) are taking reservations, or I can make a reservation with one of the hotels. What do you think?
