That is the second review I've got stating that "Dinner Companion" has a female narrator.

Did it strike anyone else that way? I mean, really, be brutally honest about this...I know it needs work, I wrote it years ago, but the femaleness is not something that I'm sure I can fix. So PLEASE tell me.

It didn't strike me as a female voice. But then it's been a while since I've read it. It's on my Favorites List though. :D

P.S. Your request to pet Remus made me laugh out loud. :) Glad you thought the post thing was cool.

Instantly had Rachel read it, and reread it over her shoulder. She said the character was actually of very ambiguous gender. ^_^ I, personally, definitely saw some instances of weaker language, which because of our society is often labelled woman's language. I don't see the character as weak, so I think those instances need changing in any case. He definitely had strong male moments, though. I see him as a rather effeminate, Victorian-type man, so I like keeping some feminine stuff in...

If you want help with that stuff, I'd be glad to give any advice I can. We can even have an IM discussion! *squee!* Or phone works, too. ^_^

Yes, I know. You can go invis on MSN, it's just harder. Because MSN is STUPID.
